Yohan and Ben did such an excellent job with my two kids (8&6) that I needed to join in. We made so much progress during our time together. Yohan is very patient but also makes sure you improve. We can’t wait for our next trip to Nosara. We will definitely book with Yohan again.

We had a great time learning to surf with Yohan, Benjamin and Joel. They were responsive, brought all the equipment we needed, provided excellent instruction, and everyone was able to surf (at least at the very beginner level!) by the end of the lesson. Yohan was also really flexible about renting boards the next day, too. 100% would recommend.

I have been trying to surf for years and never had much success. Until 2016 when I found Ukulele Surf. I was recovering from a hip replacement and I never thought I would be able to get up on a board so I just puttered around in the surf, happy to be able to catch the odd wave. That all changed with Yohan the owner of Ukulele Surf. He is incredibly patient, safety conscious and thoughtful. He goes at a pace that is comfortable for me. I have been back again and again and I am now able to catch waves and stand and ride them in! I am 50 yrs old and never did I think I would have so much success, especially after having a hip replacement. A wonderful instructor and the pipa water afterwards is always refreshing. I almost don't want to share the secret that is Nosara and Yohan but I have received the joy of surfing and I hope others try it and fall in love with it as much as I have :)

This is a great group of guys, they were flexible and willing to work with all skill levels. You will enjoy every minute with them. We had a great time, surfed with them three different days, and would visit them again whatever we return.

I spent a week at the Ukulele Surf Camp with four friends. We were all beginners and while none of us knew what to expect, we were very pleasantly surprised by the friendliness, professionalism, organization and depth of surfing knowledge presented by Yohan and his team. Our surfing package included equipment, additional surf instructors, photographer, videographers, yoga instructor and massage therapists. This was winning combination and allowed us to make significant progress during the week. I would definitely recommend Ukulele Surf to anyone wanting to improve their surfing skills, no matter what level you start at.
