Nosara is a surf mecca - everyone surfs and half as many teach - but we keep coming back to these guys because they've showed us so much more than just getting up on those waves. They have helped us, at various levels of skill and experience, navigate the swells, tides and varying surf conditions and learn about the pros... More

I was looking for a surf school experience that could accommodate both a 40 yo beginner surfer and an 18 yo intermediate surfer. I found the perfect match at safari Surf School! I worked directly with Tim the owner. He was very responsive when I sent my long list of questions and customized a package that was perfect for us.... More

Looking at the reviews, we just used Safari surf for their surf lessons. We did stay on site Olas Verdes. Again, looking at the reviews, we may have been better off with a package. Nevertheless, The instructors at the surf school were fantastic! My four children got the young active instructors. They were up surfing in less than five minutes.... More

Everything was taken care of! Surfing - Food - Transportation - Hotel/Cabina - Bike rental - Photos Safari Surf made this the easiest vacation I've ever taken. This was my first "all inclusive" trip but it was so much more than that. We literally didn't have to think about a thing. The scheduled was planned and it made perfect sense... More

If you are looking to surf and don't want to do a lot of planning, have Safari Surf take care of everything for you. You will not be disappointed. Olas Verdes was an incredible place to stay with a very relaxed vibe, extremely friendly staff and just a jungle path walk to the beach! The surf instructors are all Ticos... More

We were looking for a great surfing adventure that was a little off the beaten path and we chose Nicaragua as a place that might fill that goal. Safari Surf School has an amazing package tour in Popoyos based at the La Jolla hotel. What an amazing all inclusive experience!!!! Everything is taken care of for you and if you... More

We are a "non" surfing family and we had the best time learning how to surf in the warm waters of Guioness Beach. Our instructors were Kevin, Helboth, Alonso and Marlin. They were great instructors and they made it fun. One of the highlights to our trip to Nosara.

Amazing Job!! I thought we were crazy visiting CR with 4 young kids. Put them in Safari's kids camp every morning. They surfed and had fun while Mom and Dad did whatever they wanted (yoga, surf, hike). Afternoons were tours or family time on the beach. The staff was incredibly warm and friendly but the real standout at Safari was... More

Myself, wife and 12yr. old just had the best Spring Break ever learning to surf with Safari Surf School at Nosara, Costa Rica. We booked our stay at Olas Verdes for 5 nights and no regrets. The staff was amazing and the surfing was fun. Everyone was able to get up on the boards and enjoy, while our son was... More
