Apparently there are certain days you get to try some of the old unique bicycles too. There is also a section that teaches one how... More

When it comes to bicycles, not many museums are this complete. I last visited several years ago and the museum has been wonderfully updated in every way since then. Great history and timeline of the best mode of transport ever invented. Access to the basement yields more exciting discoveries. A beautiful exhibit of children's drawings was present during my visit.... More

Looking at the design of the steering and breaking was also quite fun. In addition to the historic bikes, there are celebrity bicycles and... More

We took a brisk walk from the train station in Sakai to the museum, then walk for 20 minutes passing through a park and Emperor's Tomb to Bicycle Museum. It is clean and... More

i liked that the many young people went there not to just see, but feel it, touch it experience it, they made it all possible. i saw many families brought their kids to practice drawing there, also if you want to try to ride classic bycycles (replica) they also offer that for little extra fee(only on sundays).it was informative and... What a neat little museum with so many cool bikes. If you love biking. . .then you must GO! Super easy to find and the staff on hand are very helpful. Very good write-ups and photos. They even have some working Shimano parts that you can play with. Best part about Osaka is that it's flat so easy to get... More
