Went for a day out with our 8 grandchildren. Kangaroos were sniffing round from table to table and very gentle with the toddlers who were thrilled with their presence. Falls pool I would suggest is for competent swimmers only, rocks slippery and very deep in...More

This was a beautiful location. There is a picnic area with BBQs where you can cook your own food. The wild western grey kangaroos will come and find you. They are wild animals but will let you stroke them. We saw a mother and her...More

Unfortunately it's been ruined with rules. Don't think about having a cheese platter by the water and a float around. Strictly no food allowed! No eskies. No floaties. No walking away from the crowds. Everyone is to sit foodless and drinkless in one small spot....More

There was more water there than we would have thought at this point in time but it was flowing nicely. People were swimming in the pool and also sunbaking around on the rocks. There’s an entry fee to go into the national park

During the day we decided to go for a quick trip to Serpentine Waterfall & Dam before our flight home. You can soak in at fall. Very quiet when we visited the dam.

This sweet little swimming hole is a bit of a hidden gem. Can't believe I haven't been here before. Take a picnic and chill with the roos before cooling off in the water. We went mid-week and it wasn't too crowded, if you're heading on...More

Of course it is not the Grand Canyon, but I was certainly impressed! As a visitor from South Australia I was surprised at the $7 car entry fee to the National Park, but the road in and the picnic and toilet facilities are all very...More

The park has great facilities for picnics and walking. There are numerous kangaroos that wander around picnic area. The waterfalls are spectacular after a heavy rain.

Stunning swimming hole. The water is a lovely blue green colour surrounded by high rocks and you can sit on a ledge under the waterfall. The access into the pool is made easier with steps and a handrail and there are shallow areas where it...More

It's free. You can go in through the cafe and information area or walk/drive past it. Plenty of parking at the heritage centre.

Yes. Open every day of the year. 8:30-5pm. Gates are shut when the park gets full And doesn't open again until the next day (even if cars are exiting).
