I had an amazing experience with Volcano Adventure. I made a reservation for my gf and I around September for a weekend in middle October (2019). It all started in Manizales around 5 AM (Saturday) and then we went on a 4x4 truck for around 1 hour until we got to La Laguna hostel were we settled and had an amazing typical breakfast. After been resting for around half an hour our real journey started. We were headed to Santa Isabel volcano and we were supposed to reach the glaciar zone and so we did it. They were people from 20 to 40 years all and we all made it because our great guides and their experience in trekking and high altitude guidance. We came back to the hostel around 4 pm, had lunch and rest till 7 pm were we had a light meal and went to chat and share with all the travelers and crew while having snacks around a beautiful bonfire. Next day was even better, we went to a 50ft waterfall and we did this amazing ritual everyone gave back a piece of joy and happiness to our world and water. It was the most exciting experience I’ve ever live in nature. We had amazing meals during the second day and after spending a great weekend we came back to Manizales around 5 pm (Sunday). As a way to be grateful with nature for letting us stay and enjoy its gifts. We plant a tree and it meant a lot for each one, everyone had a moment to share feelings and thoughts.
My gf and I made great connection with Laura and Felipe (guides) and so with the other travelers. We still keep in touch (February 2020) trough a WhatsApp group and we share photos and nature content (we are planning to take another “escampada” with volcano). I definitely recommend this agency. They have great tours with different difficulty levels and great prices. If you’re willing to make friends and have an outstanding experience more than just receiving information Volcano Adventure must be your choice. You’ll connect with them and spend a great time together.

This trip was amazing from the very moment it started. They provide lots of information with great detail for you to know if this trip it’s for you. The Guides are extremely knowledgeable and professional. They walk you through what your going to feel and the adversities you will face. The guides are also very friendly and have tons of amazing stories to tell. I had the privilege to be guided by Fergus, Mancho and Felipe. (One of a kind) The drivers Esteban and Jerman are super agile and have the skills necessary to drive in the very difficult terrain needed to be pass through to get to the National Park. Over all this experience was full of life, knowledge and challenge. If this is what your looking for. This is the place.

This was the second time we booked with Volcano Adventures- spectacular. World class hikes that you have all to yourself. We had plans to do the glacier hike, but Nevado Ruiz went to orange alert and the national park was shut down. Fortunately we were able to go on the Cerro Bravo hike which is outside of the park. We were glad we did- breathtaking views that were amazing. Laura helped us book the hike and was super helpful and patient, answering all of our questions. Felipe was our guide and was very knowledgeable with whatever questions we had and helpful the whole way. I will definitely book with them for the next one!

I participated in their nevado del tolima expedition and it was amazing!
My guides, Sébastien and Caesar were the best and I wouldn't have made it to the summit without them. One spoke no English and the other very little English. With that being said, they were constantly looking after me, seeing how I was, always hiking with me. Thanks to you both!
Laura, the individual whom I booked the tour with was a joy to deal with. She responded promptly to any messages via whatsapp, and gave me tons of advice before the hike began. Thank you Laura!
The equipment, meals, accommodation they provided were very good.
I look forward to hiking with them again in the future.

Volcano are a great agency for extreme excursions. Guides have extensive knowledge and are good people. In my case I made the experience to Nevado del Tolima and I have no doubt that I would choose them to make another trip.

The plan was super cool, the guides were very professional, the logistics were incredible, it seemed that everything was very well coordinated, they have everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible and you reach the summit
