Welcome to Atlantic Shores Riding Stables - a premier horseback riding facility located on the enchanting island of Saint Lucia. Our facility is known for its professional and friendly staff, as well as the memorable experiences we provide on our guided trail rides through the stunning countryside and along breathtaking beaches. At Atlantic Shores Riding Stables, we invite you to join us on one of our Countryside or Beach rides, where you can enjoy the natural beauty of Saint Lucia on horseback. Our Beach ride will take you to Honeymoon Beach, where you can even take a swim in the Atlantic Ocean with your horse! Our knowledgeable guides will share the history and culture of the island as you ride through the pristine countryside. Don't forget your camera, as there will be plenty of opportunities to capture memories on horseback. If you're arriving by cruise ship or staying at one of the many villas or resorts on the island, we offer reasonably priced taxi services to our facility.

Wayne organised fast track/private transfers and the Airport lounge for us it was all so well organised. The airport was very quiet when we landed but with the fast track option we were off the plane and on the way to our hotel within 30 minutes! The driver was lovely and was able to point out places etc on the journey. The airport lounge has been completely revamped and was a lovely area to relax waiting to board the aircraft.
We had booked a private transfer back to the airport which we decided to cancel and use the Sandals shuttle and were very surprised and grateful when we were told the company would refund the $90 we had paid for this.

Met at the terminal entrance for our fast track arrival service (didn’t really need it as it was quiet, but it’s a nice luxury to have, wouldn’t do it again).
Guided quickly through passport control and immigration to baggage collection.
At this point our guide was getting very agitated as our cases were taking a long time to come off. So much so that he was lifting the flap on the belt to look for them coming from outside. We were really chilled but he clearly needed to be somewhere else.
Once we had our bags, swiftly through customs and our to meet our driver (booked via another company).

We booked fast track and private transfer (water ferry) for our trip to Sandals Grande St Lucia. I recommend Atlantic Shores Riding Stables to everyone, great value for money and the time it saved us at the airport was worth every penny!! I loved the ferry, the staff was very accommodating with drinks and snacks and also very informative about the island. Thank you again Wayne Lucius for taking care of us!

They cancelled my reservation the day before and lied about the reason. Booked a 3 hr solo ride two months previously and received two conformation emails, including one just two days before. I was unable to reschedule because of prior commitments. Untrustworthy business

Hi Anne, Good afternoon and hope all is well. I wanted to take this opportunity to apologize for the cancellation of your horseback excursion during your recent trip to Saint Lucia. I completely understand how disappointing it must have been, especially since you were looking forward to the experience again but as a solo rider this time.
From the beginning, I was upfront about what happened and took full responsibility for the cancellation, even after your confirmation was sent. It was a miscommunication between myself and the booking team as I had forgotten to send them your confirmed date. We genuinely did everything we could to accommodate you, including trying to reschedule on alternative days, but unfortunately, it was not possible due to your other tour bookings and your shortened trip. Canceling was our last resort, and we never do so lightly or without effort to find a solution.
Because you had such a great experience with us two years ago, I was truly excited to welcome you back. That’s why it was disheartening to hear that you felt we were dishonest. Please know that integrity and guest satisfaction are at the heart of our business, and we would never intentionally mislead our customers.
Again, I deeply regret the situation and the frustration it caused. If given another opportunity in the future, we would love the chance to make it up to you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if there’s anything we can do. Thanks again and wishing you the very best for 2025.

Amazing all around! I contacted Wayne 45 minutes prior to wanting to book a private transfer from our resort to the airport and he was able to accommodate! We also booked the fast track service (it was Saturday) and we were escorted to the front of the Delta check in along with the security line. We booked the private lounge also and it was clean, nicely air-conditioned with snacks and drinks. Highly recommend!!!

Where do I start? The trash that covers the trail and along the ocean, the sea weed that covers the beaches and water so that you can not go into the water? I asked if this was typical and was told yes, the seaweed is typical. Why not tell your riders there is a chance you will not get on the beach? The young men that took us on the tour did their best and we gave them a tip because they tried but the site is very misleading. And, when we arrived and paid, the woman that takes your money is so very rude and did not act like she wanted us there. Had I known about the trashy trail trash and not being able to go on the beach and the rudenss of the woman taking the money, I would never have gone to this. It was my number one thing I was looking forward to and ended up the worst thing I did in St. Lucia

I have just returned from a trip to Saint Lucia and I booked Atlantic Shores for Fast Track arrival/departure, transfers to and from the resort, and the premium lounge on departure.
Excellent communications, organization and service. Excellent, friendly drivers in high-end, clean cars. Fast Track was nice and the premium lounge was a wonderful change from the main terminal experience. Well worth it.
Thank you Wayne and team. Great job, and I will book you again for my next trip to Saint Lucia.

This trail ride is amazing! We saw mountains, banana fields, rugged cliffs and rode on the beach. It was perfect even though there was a little rain and clouds. Thankfully it kept a little cooler which is nice for riding. The guide Max was terrific. My horse Sugar lived up to his name and my husband’s horse Miles was so good (especially since it had been a while since he had been riding). I would definitely ride here again!

Had an amazing, breathtaking ride among green lands and picturesque ocean view. It had been more than 10 years since I had ridden a horse and was the first time for my friend, but our guide made the experience seem effortless and comfortable. I even made a new friend in Miles (my beautiful gray horse). Our guide was also very accommodating of our many request for photo opportunities. I would highly recommend this riding trail with Atlantic Shores Riding Stables.

I almost never write poor reviews, but there are two reasons this wasn't a fun experience for us. First, our guide's service was very poor. Never introduced himself, got super annoyed with us very early on and even shook his head in disgust when we didn't follow his directions right away. It's like he didn't want to be there at all. Never smiled once. Second, my horse (River) was NOT having it. I should've known it was going to be rough when he decided to turn around and head back to the stables within the first 10 seconds of our trip. It got so bad that 3/4 through the trip, the guide finally suggested we switch horses. Was it memorable? Absolutely. But only b/c we're now laughing about how stressful it was.

Our rides take you to the beach where we will dismount to enjoy a brief break and give our riders a chance to take a swim or walk in the ocean with their horses. We will spend a combined time of approximately 25 to 30 minutes at our two beaches. We will ride through one and dismount at the other. If time permits,we can stay a little longer to enjoy the beach.

Hi, I'm looking to book up a beach ride with you next month and I was wondering what the seaweed issue is like now and predicted for next month? Although it won't put me off coming to ride with you I just want to be mentally prepared! Ive ridden horses all my life but it's always been my dream to canter along the beach and go into the sea in the Caribbean which I've still yet to do! Just wondering what I should expect really

Hi,Thanks for looking us up.The seaweed has been an island wide issue for a few years now. The situation is improving alot.Most of it has dried up on our side.We still get some washing ashore but it definately won't ruin your beach riding experience with us.You can email us from our website and I will be very happy to send you some photos of the beach.The seaweed is unpredictable so I won't be able to let you know how much will wash ashore within the next month. Thanks for inquiring about our rides. We have a weight limit of 250Lbs. We will allow kids 6 years and older to handle their own horse on the trail once they are comfortable in the saddle and show they're capable of handling a horse.This will only be done if the parents agree.Safety is always our top priority.The trail is a walking trail unless you are experienced and can handle a hand gallop. We will only gallop when other riders have dismounted. We always carry extra lead ropes in case younger kids or adults get nervous.We will hook the horses on and the guide will pull them along. Kids younger than 6 years old can enjoy a ride in the yard around the stable. Our friendly guides will lead them around the property. Thanks :)

Thanks for looking us up online. We are located 1 hour south of the cruise port. The 2 Hour Beach ride is $65USD.This ride is very popular with cruisers. We can have a taxi pick you up at cruise terminal and drip you back off after the ride. The rate varies depending on group size. You will definately love cantering on our beach here in Vieux-Fort. Is it suitable for people who have not had riding lessons?

Thanks for looking us up. We do provide transportation from your hotel which is approximately one hour away from our stable. Our 2 hour beach ride is $65 US but can be discounted for larger groups.We cater to all skill levels. We provide safety helmets and it is recommended you wear closed shoes and long pants.
