Do you remember the pub that Gary and Tony used to go to in the hit series 'Men Behaving Badly', some chaps love it...Not for me. Flat lager, populated by 'regulars' who do not show newcomers the time of day, I have to say, AVOID.

A pub for drinkers, but nicely furnished and friendly enough. Live music at weekends. Quite expensive, for the area, and not sure I’d want to stay there. In fact, didn’t even realise it was a hotel. Good central location.

A huge old pub, once a typical market inn. The bar has a good range of drinks, bar stools, comfortable sofas and pleasant tables and chairs for eating. The menu is good pub grub and prices reasonable. For smokers, there's a covered area outside and there's also a pool table. There's quite a large group of regulars and it's very popular in the evenings, particularly when there's live music. There's quite a range of function rooms.
