Russell has a profound knowledge of the physical body and is a star at asking the right questions. He approaches the body’s issues also on emotional and spiritual levels, and treats them all inter-connectedly.
I often leave Russell’s feeling very deeply touched and given deeper insights into what’s really going on. Russell has a great gift in healing.

I went to Russell with a muscle injury and wasn't sure it was fixable with a massage alone. Within 24 hours the pain had gone and I felt as good as new. Highly professional and nice chap.

When I first moved to Brighton a few years ago I tried out several masseurs and straight away noticed that Russell is different. I have never looked back.
No massage is the same; he listens to his clients' problems and also has that amazing ability to read the body. This enables him to tailor the massage and, thanks to his training, use different massage techniques if required to help the body heal itself in the best possible way. Thanks to him I learned that even though the pain might be in one spot, the cause might actually be in another spot.
He was also the one who made me aware of an issue with my neck (which I had developed over the years following a childhood accident) which caused me to go and see a chiropractor and luckily saved my neck. A massive THANK YOU for that.

I would highly recommend Russell for a treatment! I literally felt so much relief during and after the session it was quite incredible on a physical and emotional level. Harbouring an old injury which has given me discomfort and frustration for many years, Russell was able to see what was going on and offered an interesting mix of techniques. He clearly knows his stuff and I felt instantly comfortable with him. I've not had this level of release from any other treatment so I'll definitely be going back.

Russell is simply amazing - I would definitely recommend.
His deep intuition coupled with his extensive breadth of modalities of bodywork makes for a new experience each and every time, tailored exactly to what you need that day.

Russell is a great guy and incredibly knowledgeable. Through a blended mix of visceral massage and other suggested techniques, Russell has delivered results that a years worth of medical treatments could not. Thank you for for genuinely improving my life.

Have been visiting Russell regularly now for over 4 years and can guarantee this is the best massage therapist you will find in Brighton & Hove, having tried about half a dozen others prior to finding Russell.
Have a bit of a thing for trying different massage and treatment styles around the world (Thailand, Indonesia, Turkey, Middle East etc) and Russell is always expanding his knowledge and repertoire mixing such diverse techniques as Thai and Swedish etc to ensure no two treatments are ever the same. He is very intuitive and takes time to find out exactly what is needed.
Also compared to other spa based treatments his pricing structure is very favourable for the quality of the massage. Plus the online booking procedure is very convenient for finding a suitable appointment. Would thoroughly recommend you give him a try for your next treatment.

Russell Halil is a very experienced and knowledgeable therapist - he uses a range of techniques and is very intuitive about what you and your body need for each session. I have been seeing Russell on a regular basis for the 4 years I've lived in Brighton and highly recommend him.

I have had four treatments from Russell so far and am amazed and delighted with the results. I went to see him a month ago feeling very miserable with pelvic and leg pain (both sides). The pain on my right side had been ongoing for five years and for a long time I had been trying to get help for it. These attempts were through my GP, through hospital referrals, NHS physios, plus treatments I had sought privately through various alternative practitioners. Any benefit received (and such was not always the case) proved temporary every time - and this despite my doing all my 'homework' as directed. Then 19 months ago I ended up with pain on my left side following nerve damage during surgery for another condition. So yes, I was definitely miserable and very fearful by the time I turned up at Russell's and was just longing for some hands-on relief - right side, left side, both sides, didn't care - just relief to any extent from the pain. I wasn't disappointed. After the first session I was completely painfree on my right side for days (first time in five years). When some pain did return, it was approx 20% of what it had been (now about 5%). As well as this, I am now also back at my stretching and yoga routines which I had not been able to engage in, or engage in properly, for five years. As for the left-sided post-op nerve pain, drug-free treatments are still ongoing, with Russell's brilliant treatments already alleviating a huge amount of the spasms that have built up in the area concerned. Over this last month I have felt a welcome sense of hope and trust return to me - that I can recover, that I can resume my profession, and that once more I can regain a healthy and peaceful connection with my body. Thanks Russell. So glad I found you online. Can't wait for next appointment.
