This is a great place to take your children/grandchildren with the park and play area together with pedaloes to hire for a trip around the pirates pool. The cafeteria has a good selection of food at reasonable prices to eat in or take out and it also has a large outdoor seating area. The paddling pool is great for kids... More

Fun place for children to play, to eat at the cafe, to join in with the various watersports or just to enjoy a walk along the coast.

Hove lagoon is a lovely place to visit. Kids can play, you can eat & drink, watch water sports,or take a stroll on the seafront. There are plenty of places to park too. We've walked to Brighton and even ride our bikes to saltdean from here. I definitely would recommend you visit.

Hove Lagoon is a funny old place. It's lovely for learning to windsurf any age. ~Very near the sea. There is a great fresh fish stall just on the seafront if you look at the and walk right for a few yards. You can sit and have a picnic. It's a functional place. Parking is a nightmare in Brighton and... More

Bring the kids here all of the time for paddling pool, pirate ship, play park and ice creams at The Big Beach Cafe. Best to come prepared (camping chair, sun cream and parasol for the paddling pool). Apart from that, you are good to go!
