We stopped at Teos to break our journey to Alaçatı and Çeşme, and it was a lovely stroll through atmospheric grounds, but there was not much to see. Some of the ruins were fenced off as it is an active archeological dig (though not in February when we visited). And there is what appears to be a recently-laid cobbled path through much of the site, so accessibility is good compared to many of the ruins we visited. The entrance guards were friendly and welcoming, and the toilets by the entrance clean.

Visited the Roman ruins at the top of the hill near our resort Club Atlantis and was amazed at the history of the site. In the will of Attalos 111 he left this area to Rome and it was developed for the artists of Dionysus with temple, theatre and acropolis.

Impressive ancient site, lots of students still working hard every day to excavate more remains. I guess they'll be there for years to come. Not a lot of info in English. And there is no place to buy water nearby, so make sure you bring your own. It gets very hot in summer, just walking around. Apparently the office at the entrance has been let out to someone, but they haven't gotten around to get it installed as a büfe or small café yet, so nothing there yet. Clean toilet, that's it, no drinks :)

We came here to get another impression. The ticket for visors is 5 tele and it is more than worth it! You are able to walk around by yourself. So you can explore the whole area on your feet - so get proper shoes if you come and visit. We walked around 7 kilometers
