Learnt of it by accident. A real must. 700 steep trail worth the effort. Drive up as much as allowed. Note the two old bridge on the way.

This amazing waterfall pours from a very high rock among the Black Sea forests.
To reach the waterfall, approximately two kms. of walking is required from the car park area.

Beautiful scenery and a nice hike up to the waterfall. Refreshing cool mountain spring and amazing views. The climb up can be a bit tiring but overall not a big issue if in good health. Plenty of resting places along the walk too.

One of the best hiking route I've ever walked. After a little tough walking through hills you will get your reward. The waterfall will charm you. When you reach the waterfall just close your eyes and don't think about your daily issues. Just relax and feel the breeze.
The road was average. Any vehicle can go on the roads. Entrance is free. Also there is a free parking area at the entrance.

Mençuna waterfalls, Ciftekopru(two old bridges) and the road that leads to waterfalls all are the part of Kamilet valley which is a wonderful natural gem..Take your trekking shoes, your swimsuits (if you can in such cold water), your camera and visit the region..

Although it is tough to reach the waterfall the view you see afterwards and the swimming opportunity are worth trying. If you are confident enough try to walk all the way besides it and get cool in the water. It is an amazing experience.

This is truly amazing place but hard to reach. I had a mondeo to drive so driving is not a problem. But on foot you need to walk thru a difficult trail. But i have seen many elderly women on the road so it should be ok.

This is a place of natural wonder. When you go up to the top and see the view and power of the waterfall, you realize that it was worth the climb. We went out with our 22-month-old daughter on a day in November when it never stopped raining. It is difficult to go out with a small child, if there is one, it may be more logical to carry it with a kangaroo. The floors are slippery, sturdy shoes are a must. You climb for about 25 minutes. Cross the suspension bridge, turn around and enjoy the waterfall. There is a gazebo at the top of the waterfall. Tea and coffee are sold there in season, but it was not available in the season we went. We were very tired but it was worth it.
