This museum should be seen to feel the effects of the balkan war. Especially walking inside the redoubts and hearing the sound of shells are amazing. It is also free of charge

The museum itself is good but they have represented the history in a style of propaganda, trying to represent themselves a victims. Especially, they have put a lot of photos and picture with inscriptions in style "they try to run away from Bulgarian warriors who will murder them". It is at least immoral as 35 years earlier the army of Sulleyman Pasha totally had destroyed Stara Zagora.

The Balkan wars are little known in US or Europe for that matter, but they were a run up to WWI. This site is worth a walk around, although unless you are a military expert some of the displays will be hard to understand...especially since info is all in Turkish.
