Worth a visit to learn more about the area and it’s ties to ancient worlds. It’s well kept and has a some pieces of interest.

Museum has expositions of unique artifacts of Sinop from times when city was the capital Pontus Empire.

Walking tour of Sinop. Another collection of old statues, bits of buildings, etc. Big attraction in Sinop is I suppose is that it is where the Russian navy destroyed the Turkish fleet at anchor - always easier to hit a stationary target.

Many historical pieces can be seen in this little city museum. Intresting amphoras. They were all well marked. Also the garden was good for to have a rest.

Many historical pieces from Romans and lots of icons and amphoras . Famous person Diojen has lived in Sinop. You may visit his sculptures.
