… rather during weekend. Nice stay is in one of the towns inside the country few km away from the sea front, like beautiful Bergen main town. At the beach you will find the usual amenities including some restaurants, lounges with basic food and drinks. The beach in ites for long walks to less populated areas and dunes ( careful, protected areas, use walkways only !). Surfing. Kiting. Sailing possible.

We enjoyed a lively walk on this beach April.
Surprisingly there were lots of people, the cafes were open. But with such a long beach you didn’t feel crowded.

I was glad we came here for a walk on a relaxing mood. No hurry just on our own pace.There were few beachcombers in that time. I waited this moment to wade my feet in a salt water. walking barefoot...Relaxing.
I liked the idea my husband brought me here. You can come and visit the place. there are lots of hotels around. Restaurants are plenty. Shopping you can also do it here.

There are a number of walking trails and bicycle paths behind the dunes that lead to the beach. Not just this one, but others as well. Here and there are trails through the dunes, although not everywhere as the Dutch try to protect them. All beaches, including this one, is sandy and all are amazingly clean. We just walked, for miles we walked and talked. There's something about oceans and seas that calms people down. Something primordial or maybe that last glass of wine at the kiosk.

Driving through the fairytale forest to Bergen an Zee is an adventure in itself. I wish I could afford one of the millionaire villas here...
The beach is just perfect, wide and sandy. Brillant for bathing, tanning, walking, jogging, whatever.
