Like a sensory park where you walk through sand, mud, water, over grass, moss, trees and rocks. Lots to discover and the kids loved it!

I'd heard some much about this from family, I was quite excited to visit. It was a fun walk.
I wasn't enthusiastic about the mud walks so I avoided them.
Only downside is that they don't accept VISA cards.

All in all the walk is just a bit on the long side, which does make it a bit uncomfortable barefoot. But especially the obstacles in and with water are very cool and worth the effort! Great fun! Up to your knees in mud!

The barefoot park is located in a forest environment. There are a lot of different materials on the route to walk on, such as stones and wood. We already had a lot of fun before we even reached those, just to see how others before us react to it and see how to walk over these different floorings. When we proceeded further into the park there were also settings with water&mud where you could walk through, things to jump/climb on, it was overall just a really great afternoon and really enjoyed ourselves!

The best time to go would probably be when it's not too cold so you can fully enjoy all the features there (such as the water parts). It is a great activity for families, but also for couples.

This is a large barefoot walk of nearly 4 km that is well set out in the countryside.
Plenty of variation and good wet, muddy, sections - these can be detoured - to enjoy.
Allow, without small kids, 90 minutes to round. Excellent value for money.

Went as a couple to this on a weekday midday.
Very fun and peaceful walk. Nicely decorated with quotes (dutch). Lots of sensations as walk over pinecone etc. Great to be like a kid again balancing on beams etc. Mud came up to our thighs at one point - definitely wear shorts!fascinating the abundance of wildlife e.g. Frogs and dragon flies in the swamp.
A great experience and would be a good trip as a family. Groups of children were there later and all seemed to be enjoying themselves.

It was a very fun experience! You get to do different kind of activities in nature. You could walk over obstacles in the water and obstacles in the woods. There was a sort of maze that led to a sort of small wooden tree house. I loved how they hung up little facts about nature or little quotes about life. We had the most fun at the end where there was a pool of mud that reaches all the way up to your inner thigh. I would definitely visit this park again!

It's a nice activity, something different for a change, but there is a bare foot path just across the border that is so much better. What I really enjoyed in Brunssum was the first half of the path, especially the bits with mud and water. What bored the hell out of me (and made me roll my eyes on more than one occassion) were the New Agey activities, the navel staring activities, the hippy noodle assignments. If you want to go to play in the mud and try walking barefoot on different types of surface, go to Belgium (Lanaken) - cheaper, longer path, more fun, less mantras.
