When visiting Nord Netherlands or Groningen area I reccomend to see this amazing place. City centre from 16th century and hanging attachments to historival buildings above the canaal. The city itself is called as Venice of the nord.

We love this part of the little village of Appingedam, the quaint hanging kitchens enhance the local canal. While we we there bus loads of American tourists stopped to take in the sites.
