A must see to experience what a hobby brings one. We were very impressed about the massivemnumbers of shells and other stuff . What quality, colours and the joy of the collector who is gladly sharing all about his findings.

When I go to Schiermonnikoog, I never go back without a visit in the Schelpen Museum by Thijs de Boer. It's really impressive, what this guy has collected and found. Really recommendable. Samuel Büttler, Basel, Switzerland

In a private house you find a huge collection of shells all collected by the owner himself. He knows a lot about shells and likes to explain also to children. You pay a small amount and can come back any time, which is very nice.
