Nice morning/evening walk

Especially nice at night - but also as general fitness during daytime- but off-season! Can become quite crowdy.

The actual information centre rather than museum in the revamped lighthouse is just a little boring with singularly the most unenthusiastic staff it's ever been my great misfortune to have encountered. On occasion you do feel like you're putting them out even posing a legitimate question .... but then surely they're there to do more than open and close the... More

Done this walk a few times. You need a bottle of water and a couple of hours. Beautiful views across the bay. At the lighthouse there are viewing binoculars free to look out to sea the lighthouse is a museum though it has never been open when we have visited

Went on this walk to the lighthouse. Well signposted and pretty easy but had some great view points along the way. Would definitely recommend it if you have a couple of hours to spare. You can walk up to the lighthouse from Albir in about 40 mins but if you stop off and have a few pictures it will take... More

Fantastic views over the bay. Quite a climb and hard on a hot day. Worth it when you get there. I would recommend it, but advice take plenty of water as there is no where you can buy this en-route.

An easy walk of 2.2 kms on a paved road surface with gentle inclines throughout. Takes about 1 hours. Stunning views at the top. There are also a number of view points on the way up. Can become busy at the weekends - be aware that cyclists also ride up & down the route; most are courteous but keep an... More

This is an amazing walk up to the light house and well worth it when you get there. It is only 2.2 KM and can be done by all age groups and abilities. It is a tarmac footpath all the way and can be used by prams and wheel chairs.

The Lighthouse is an easy one hour stroll on mostly a tarmac path from the tourist information office next to the beach with some lovely views along the way. But be warned there are no Shops,Bars or toilets on the way or when you get there. We were very disappointed when we arrived, because there was just a small room... More

A walk is worth it for the view. Best also to check local papers, RTN, Post,Buzz or Round Town News for details of events being held at certain times of the year.
