Walk out to this lighthouse, if you can. Walk takes an hour each way, at a leisurely pace. Not strenuous, just a gradual ascent, and then descent. Views to die for all along the route. No loos at the lighthouse! Go at the toilets (just 2 - very basic!) at the wooden gateway at the start of the walk. Take... More

The scenic walk walk to the lighthouse is becoming more popular with locals and visitors.parking at the beginning has been improved. It's also ideal for animals(don't forget doggy bag).Recommended for those who enjoy this type of outdoor activity

Beautiful walk and views. From the top of the dark you can often see the dolphins swimming. On a clear day the views are amazing

Always meant to do this walk whenI have been in Albir. This visit I was with my 14 yr old daughter at a cooler time of year than our normal August visits. Its about 2.2km each way. The views are fantastic and its well worth it but not in August as it would be too hot! However a bottle of... More

We found this trail to the lighthouse by accident, it is at the right end of the beach and is signposted a park. The walk is 2.5km and is fantastic. The views are well worth the walk . On reaching the top we walked round the lighthouse, didn't see any dolphins though. The Lighthouse closes around 2.00pm most days.

The walk to the lighthouse is a must when there is a cool day. The many viewpoints give exceptional views up the coast to Altea and Calpe. The large car park leads to well maintained paths with little gradient - a great half day walk.

Especially nice at night - but also as general fitness during daytime- but off-season! Can become quite crowdy.

The actual information centre rather than museum in the revamped lighthouse is just a little boring with singularly the most unenthusiastic staff it's ever been my great misfortune to have encountered. On occasion you do feel like you're putting them out even posing a legitimate question .... but then surely they're there to do more than open and close the... More

Done this walk a few times. You need a bottle of water and a couple of hours. Beautiful views across the bay. At the lighthouse there are viewing binoculars free to look out to sea the lighthouse is a museum though it has never been open when we have visited
