This is a lovely park. Great for a stroll at any time, as the trees keep you sheltered during the hot summer days. The pond is great for kids (and big kids too!)

We visited Guardamar on market day, Wednesday,at the end of February. We grabbed a spot of lunch before having a walk along the prom/beach,then we're walking back to the car when my wife said she wanted to walk through the gardens she could see across the road. So imagine our surprise when we go in and find ducks, geese, parrots, terrapins plus a lovely play area for the kids and lots of shade for the warmer months (although it was 23 degrees in February). Furthermore, whilst the park has a bar/cafe which was great to see open, the whole park is spotlessly clean and so quiet too. We were impressed with parque of the nations in torrevieja but this is on another level! well done Guardamar!

My children are 8 and 11, the eldest was a little less impressed but was happy to wonder around and explore. It was great in natural shade of the trees and my husband and I got to sit down for half hour which is always a bonus. 😁

This is a beautiful spot for a walk in the shade. It’s also excellent with young children, as there is so much wildlife to see including squirrels, peacocks, turtles, ducks, swans and birds. Plus a lovely large playground with lots of different equipment for a variety of ages. A great way to spend an hour or so.
