This is always a popular day out for locals in the area as well as tourists. It’s actually some size and very hilly so wear support shoes and enjoy the natural beauty of trees shrubs wildlife and people.

Lovely park to walk around. Lots of shade under the trees. Lake/pond with turtles,fish,peacocks and many water fowl. Look out for the red squirrels too! Visited many times and never disappointed. Lovely play area for the kids. Also quiet areas for relaxing. Why not take...More

Lovely walk in the green park with birds, ducks, turtles and pickocks. Very clean and in the centre of the town.

This is a lovely well looked after park surrounded by cafes and restaurants with a very good bar on the edge of the park. Great for kids and adults.

Paths in the shelter of the pine trees. French boules. Peacocks and peahens, and various types of ducks, which people were feeding. Loads of terrapins sunbathing. Childrens play park. Café.

No it's a public park with a children's play area, petanque courts, as well as home to peacocks and many varieties of ducks.
