Nice for children

I don't like horses but it was great for the children.
Altough it doesn't look so professional one kid was responsible for 2 adults and 2 children with no horse experience.

Great entertainment for a kid

To be honest, I don't like horses, but my daughter adores them, so we went one day, prayed 20 € ( with the discount check which you can freely take from info office at Vielha), and it was so great to her, that at the end we went there every day. Perfect for kids, since you don't have to participate. I was drinking a beer at Hotel Hipica, knowing that my kid is safe and happy at the horse walk. The horses are.well trained and you don't have to have idea about them. The leader is a very nice girl (think her name is Barbara), she has a lot of patience and is a born rider. The route takes 1 hour, and just by looking at my kids face, I new it worth every penny. Hopefully we'll be back.

Worth the experience!

We first did a two hours tour, and enjoyed so much the experience that decidednto book a one day tour (5-6h). Visiting the Pyrennees horse-riding is an unique experience. I really recommend it. On top, the owner of this place was very kind, and gave us a good deal (prices in the French Pyrinees are 20% lower, so I managed to get same fare as in France!).

The first day we did a 2 hr tour, and rode through la borda del Rei (Betlan), and the second day through la Tuca. The horses are OK. You do not need to be an experienced horse rider as the horses follow the guide, but better if you have ridden before as you need to feel confident in case one horse deviates a bit, or stops trying to eat, ...i really recommend the two-three hours tour!
