One of the best beaches on the island with easy access by car with a large free car park behind the Eastern end of the beach. Lots of sun beds and umbrellas for €16 a day and plenty of space if you take your own gear. Not backed by buildings this means it feels very natural. You can get food and drink at the beach side bar and restaurant or in the local supermarkets. Water is usually calm as summer winds tend to come from the North. If naturism is you thing there is an area not far to the West of the beach entrance where you can get your all over tan.

I much preferred Son Bou beach (and the adjacent Sant Tomas beach) to the coves. The water is always clear and clean, even when it is moved. Preferable with north wind. Wide beach suitable for social distancing. Parking with plenty of space by 10-10:30 am.
