Interesting talaoitic settlement
Jun 2018
There are many talaiotic settlements on Menorca. But this one is well worth a visit as it has the only complete taula left. It is not a big area, but it gives a good impression of th elayout of such a prehistoric community. Info in English available at most landmarks.
Circular tour takes about half an hour, OK to do by yourself with the info leaflet.

Interesting ancient civilisation site
Jun 2018 • Family
The whole tour takes about 20 minutesand is quite interesting. At 5 Euros/head, the price was reasonable. There are some good photo opportunities. Probably not a place for a revisit.

Thanks a lot for your comment, Timothy. We would like to inform you that new excavation seasons are going to be conducted on site, starting in November 2018. This new excavations will bring to light new structures and information about the site, which means revisiting the site will be always interesting! We hope you enjoyed Torralba and the rest of the island. All the best! Cristina

Talaiotic Village
May 2018 • Couples
After a few abortive attempts to view some Talaiotic sites near Ciutadella, we found the approach to this one much easier! If you come from the main Mao-Ciutadella road there's a turn-off signposted to Cala en Porter that takes you to the entrance to the site.
You can see the huge Taula and Talayot from the car park, but it's well worth the 4 euro entry (3 euros for seniors) because there's much more to see along a well laid out route including a smaller Talayot, some caves excavated in the bedrock and a section of cyclopean wall. There's also some more recent elements: a threshing floor, a small limestone quarry a well and a cattle house.

Great ruins from the bronze age
Oct 2017 • Couples
Menorca has the biggest number of ruins from the bronze age in Europe.
In Torralba d'en Salord you can see many differnet types. There is a path that takes you around the area with information signs at each location worth seeing. The most impressive is the mini Stonehenge, a place for religious worship. But there are also caves, walls, towers and ruins from houses.
Easy to find as you turn off from the main road between Mahon and Ciutadella. Also close from Cala\n Porter

Amazing and well laid out
Aug 2017 • Couples
With our hire car we went on a talaiotic pilgrimage. This is just up the road from Sanctuary of So na Caçana which is free. This cost 4E but is very well laid out and has good signs. Went there at dusk and took a while to see.

Interesting short visit, nice change
Jul 2017 • Family
Was keen to see this place after reading Menorca guide book pre holiday. Out in the countryside near Alaior, easy to find, friendly ticket lady with good English, very quite when we went, didn't see anyone else there. 12 or 13 separate features that you can stroll round in 30 minutes easily. Information boards at most. Made a nice change from beaches and markets. Well preserved and worth a visit.

Excellent, fascinating sample of Menorca's prehistorical times, with an intriguing "taula". Well signposted, easy to visit with good explanations in Catalan, Spanish and English. Highly recommended!
