We went round the museum first which is a few minutes walk away from the main building. Lots of old barrels of Brandy which was unexpected, and then a wonderful old house and the patio with it's pots and flowers, ponds and fountains. Followed this with the distillery tour (well a mock up of one) but very interesting and samples of the different types of Anis they make. Obviously you end up in the shop where you can purchase if you want to. Well worth the effort to see if you are in the area with a couple of hours to spare.

Highly recommended. Lots of samples to try. Seeing the typical Andalucia house was very interesting and the Patio was beautiful even in winter

this time the entry fee is 4.50€ per head dropped from 7.50? I think it said - this time we have a member of staff telling us about the factory and museo - English speakers on the bus with a Spanish guide and while we know a little are not fluent so much is missed - Beautiful storage room/museo with many barrels stored in Criaderas style all very nice then off outside to a court yard with is a beautiful Patio with recycled swimming pool, must have been a house then off again to another Museo to have a tasting, small plastic tasting cups for the Anis in different flavours - lemon and blackcurrent not to my taste a bit raw more of it went into a sloosh sink, then the Brandy, Cognac Burning as it goes over not quite rocket fuel but still a required taste

Lovely visit to the bodega, typical Andalucian house and delightful patio. The tasting in the distillery was more than I expected with a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks to try. Thank you Anselmo
