We had a great time at the cableski, they are super friendly with quite a few of the staff speaking English, my nine year old loved it and was up water-skiing after a few goes, the restaurant was very well priced with some great menu options

I could have stayed all day but my girlfriend wanted to leave!! Going back next year! Would recommend for people that have experience wakeboarding as cable does pull you off quite quickly. Knew boarding for the beginners still looked good fun. Cheap beers to have between laps what more do you need!!

First things first - there are 2 places here - the cableski and the bar/restaurant Both of them are fairly run down - this review is for the cableski. It is fairly good value and a great way to spend a day or even two depending on your ability. You buy a ticket 5 /10 /20/40 laps or half a days worth of laps There are enough jumps and rails in the water to keep you going. However if you cannot ski or wakeboard there is NO coaching. One of the staff on the 'jetty' is English and will give you instructions on how to leave the jetty and stay upright - if you do or not is down to you. If you fall over when leaving the jetty this counts as half a lap fall over again and this strike off one of your laps - so if you are a beginner you can quickly find yourself using up your laps not having got 5 meters from the jetty. There is a safety boat which goes out to collect people who have fallen off half way round the lake and have too far to swim back in. All in all, good fun if you can ski - if not - take care if you want instruction or lessons contact the cableski and they will give you the number of an instructor who you then contact and have to pay for separately

The best way to sum up our experience is 'grubby'. From the bar to the seating area and pool everything looked somewhat run down and lacking in investment. We ate lunch, or rather we paid for lunch which we didn't eat. Fast food at its worst. They just don't get the turnover of visitors to keep up the quality. However it was great watching the mainly Spanish youngsters on the lake. Definitely a place for some great local water skiers. Did seem a bit difficult for the visiting tourists to get a look in or any tuition. Only one slow rescue boat which seemed to be struggling. I think it would be a great place for teenagers looking for something different who didn't care about the split, dirty seats. Would be great if more people visited so they could invest more in the infrastructure.
