Cool place on the hill. A few (hundred) steps up was good to tire the kids out a bit. They had fun exploring around the fortress.

Partly in ruins, but nice arranged. Great panorama view of city and lanscape.
Entrance is free and cable car ticket cost about 3 eur for up and down. Parking is free too and have a lot of space. Nearby souvenir shops and toilet.

The fortress stands tall at the heart of Deva, overlooking the city and the beautiful fields and forests around. There are some stairs to climb , but the view is worth it. Definitely a stop if you pass by Deva. Enjoy the view!
