It doesn't matter where we are in the world & even when they are hidden my husband will find a bike/car museum. We entered to the sounds of squealing children on a school outing & then 3 elderly ladies walked out. We seriously thought we had come to the wrong place. After walking upstairs things really got strange. NO cars... More

Lovely museum. Some excellent contemporary art. The motor exhibition has cars, motorcycles and pedal cycles. The toy section is a must. It provided a wonderful morning for us.

We were travelling your car from Porto to Castelo Branco and were advised to call into this museum as the historic cars on show were meant to be exceptional. Unfortunately for us we arrived on the only day it was closed! The hotel across the road very kindly contacted the curator who was at work and opened the museum especially... More

It was nice to hear about the history of the museum, the guide was very nice and patient. It has some samples of art, paintings, carpets, and so on, with great value. I went for the purpose of seeing the automobile museum but it was also nice to visit the rest of the displays of art. The automobile museum has... More

The trip to the museum, is an attraction by itself as you go through the mountain. The museum itself is good, and with an interesting amount of vehicles

Really interesting museum. Huge variety of vintage cars all with little plaques that tell you their history. Some good works of art - even a Picasso - which my daughter was very pleased about. Loads of parking, next to a playground for the children afterwards.

Excellent museum with some fantastic art, including Picasso. Not very expensive entry- 7€ which I thought was reasonable. Most plaques on art and cars had an English translation and some fantastic cars to see! Some cars which we expected to be there (from the photos on the website) were not present- however we have assumed this could have been because... More

Some good artworks from famous names like Dali, Picasso, Chagall, Miró and Vieira da Silva. The car collection is also great and a definite must go for car lovers. The price is a bit expensive.
