One of the best Polish ski resorts. You can find all the slopes: red, black and blue. Good snow conditions last for several winter months. In the resort you will find several chairlifts and a gondola lift.
At the top of the mountain you will find several regional restaurants with good Polish cuisine.

Due to high temperatures we took the ride up (relatively expensive at 25pln). From the top there are beautiful views to each side of the mountain. The hike down is rather steep and not always clearly marked. It takes 90min to 2hrs to reach Czarny Potok (back to the lift in Krynica). The route goes through forrests thick bushes and open areas (ski slopes). I've seen people going down on flip flops but would certainly recommend sportshoes or hiking shoes. Bring water, especially on a hot day. Can be very challenging when raining!

This is for the more advanced skiers. Since my daughter wasn't we had to stay in one single blue slope. We then had big problems to get her down through the quite steep red slops.

Great place for a mountain hike, and if you are tired, there is a Bar and restaurant.
Nice views, and if its raining you can always go to the bar for a nice pint.

We went up, had a look around, and came down. Free parking in the summer and no queues to get up there.

If you want to ski with speed and fun, definitely go to Jaworzyna. The longest and fastest slopes around Krynica. Black slope recommended for good skiers - not so many people, good preparation.

It's very good ski resort, maybe one of the best in Poland. Cableway and few chairlifts, children lifts, very good, wide and different slopes give you so much occasions to have fun in winter.
Spectacular view from the top to Tatra mountains. Good facilities, restaurants, bars, hotels and close to the beauty of Krynica-Zdroj - spa

Not only is this a great ski destination in winter, but Jaworzyna is beautiful in the summer. Stunning views, wildlife and great food. Karkowka from the grille is a "must" up here.

Not the best Customer Service on the ground but the cable car (gondola) is properly and security built. We went up and down by gondola. But it is also worth to go one way and cone back by foot. At the very top there are few bars/restaurants to choose from (not too exclusive , rather regional style which is charming) but the view from the top of Jaworzyna is outstanding. During the winter the is a best sky route.

Hello all. I would love to visit here next summer, but there seems to be no public transport from zakopane. Does anybody have any idea how to get here please. I prefer not to drive myself. Thank you

Hi
There is no public transportation. However, there are private buses and mini buses every 15 minutes from Zakopane to almost every city in south Poland. You wouldn’t even know they are private. You can buy ticket ( very inexpensive) at the ticket booth or from the driver. No fee for luggage. Make sure you have cash if buying ticket from a driver. You would be surprised how organized the transportation in Poland is.
