The lighthouse offers a great view but because of its industrial surroundings there is not much to do around it. Good for a quick visit to take snaps of the skyline.

Was unsure approaching this one esp with infant, however we managed the nearly 300 steps no problem. Nice there is a midway terrace to catch your breath. From the top the views are great at orientating and familiarising yourself. I loved the industrial land beneath.

The talest lighthouse at the Baltic Sea. Only 308 stairs up :). When you reach the peak you can see the breathtaking view.

About 300 steps, but well worth climbing them on a clear day, for an excellent view around the whole region and especially of the port and estuary area and also of Fort Gerhard. And where else can one go and look straight down into the holds of cargo ships?!

After walking up 300 steps you can enjoy the view on the city from a distance, watch the Swina estuary with the giant ships coming from the Baltic sea, but what I enjoyed most was observing the big cranes loading and un-loading the cargo ships right below me.
Parking lot is free of charge right next to the lighthouse, but the access road is terrible, you practically can't drive faster than 30 kmph. There is also a small gift shop and a buffet.

We didnt enjoy the visit. It is located In a very unattractive part of the harbor. But if you are into lighthouses it might be good

Almost 70 meters high, all stairs ie no lift. After 100 steps a platform. You already hear your fellow visitors trying to get their breath back. Views are nice but you're not that high. Up again and after more than 300 steps you reach the second platform. Some visitors are now so out of breath that you think they are going to collapse. Smokers maybe? Great, interesting view. Not what you would expect but the ugly factory next to the lighthouse is fascinating. The cranes are beautiful in their own right. It's all a matter of taste but we liked it. Look out over the nature reserves and enjoy the ships that pass.

The lighthouse is in an unattractive industrial and commercial port area. We climbed up the 300 or so steps to the top. The view was interesting but not inspiring. The best thing about it is that the parking area is close walking distance to Fort Gerharda which I do recommend visiting.

We cycled here on our rented bikes. We visited on a Sunday morning and there were no queues, we got straight in. There are 308 steps, easily manageable for reasonably fit people. The views at the top are well worth the effort. You can see all over Usedom and Wolin islands, and all over Swinoujscie city, the beach and the port area.
