About
Monteci is the old nickname dating back to the 18th century by which the Righetti family was known in the Valpolicella area. The owners have now decided to use it for their family-run Winery of the same name as a mark of the deep connection they have with their roots. The family descendants, who are now at the fifth generation, keep producing excellent wines by integrating the traditional grape raising methods and must processing with leading-edge vinifications techniques. incantevole l'atmosfera in un ambiente grande ma famigliare sei sempre accompagnato con cura e consigliato al meglio, molto professionali ma al tempo stesso simpatici.

Abbiamo fatto un viaggio nelle terre della Valpolicella e scelto una visita con degustazione alla cantina Monteci di Arcè di Pescantina nel veronese. Abbiamo ricevuto molte spiegazioni sulla loro filosofia imprenditoriale (dal 2018 anche il vino biologico ), sono viticoltori da quattro generazioni (1925), producono nelle terre migliori della Valpollicella prediligendo la qualità delle uve aromatiche , ci hanno condotto nelle loro cantine spiegandoci lo stoccaggio , il filtraggio,(in botti di acciaio e in botti di rovere dove viene data la colma da un vaso sulla sommità, poi chiuse con tappo in cera, divise in botti in base ai tempi d'invecchiamento), producono una buona gamma di rossi e bianchi, dopo aver fatto alcuni assaggi (il Bardolino, il Ripasso, l'Amarone.....) la mia personale scelta è ricaduta sull'Amarone perchè è un vino più slegato dalla cucina , dal sapore d'intensità aromatica a me più gradevole, lo userò in modo meditativo.....in compagnia naturalmente😉😚

Ambiente grande e moderno, ha saputo accogliere qualche centinaio di persone in maniera ottimale. Ottima offerta di vini e buon buffet per cena, ricordo ancora il vostro risotto all'Amarone. Unica nota, se proprio ne va trovata una, l'organizzazione del buffet: due sole postazioni di accesso, per così tante persone, hanno creato delle code interminabili. Lo spazio c'è, bastava organizzare più isole.

Una serata organizzata per beneficienza: seduti per 4 ore su una panca da sagra in un salone enorme bellissimo ma con un'acustica pessima: l'intrattenitore principale - niente di meno che Roberto Puliero - ha fatto il possibile per tenere viva l'attenzione, ma invano...non si sentiva e quindi è stato largamente ignorato. Lasciamo stare gli altri teatranti...
Cena - scarsa - servita con enormi ritardi (cucina non attrezzata per servire centinaia di persone?).
Tante famigliole con bimbi a un certo punto se ne sono andate...
Se si vuole proporre l'abbinamento vino-cultura, benissimo...però organizzatevi meglio e non fate soffrire gli ospiti

Abbiamo prenotato la visita e degustazione scegliendo dal sito quella "Valpolicella". Daniele ci ha accolti con professionalità e entusiasmo nella scoperta di questa cantina moderna ma con i sapori di una volta. Rapporto qualità prezzo corretto.

Siamo passati dalla cantina Monteci per acquistare alcuni vini con amici, ma la fermata di è trasformata ben presto in un' indimenticabile esperienza.
Sara, ci ha trasmesso la passione e la professionalità che ispira questa cantina.
