We had a wonderful tasting of four wines, accompanied with some home made/grown and local specialities. A friendly young lady told us about the wines, the food and some history of the estate. The wines are of high quality and the total experience was really worth our time. Afterwards, we of course bought some bottles of wine and olive oil to repeat the tasting at home :-) Highly recommended!

Lovely wines and a beautifully prepared luncheon to match! Our hostess and tour guide was very special. We learned about the Caiarossa Winery, vineyard and tasted 4 elegant wines as well as enjoying a luncheon of cold cuts, cheese, crostini and special condiments. We purchased two (white blend & 2010 Toscana Red Blend) & are definitely looking forward to sharing them with good friends soon. This is not only a very good value, but also a wine experience that should be on the top of your Bogheri wine tasting list! Cheers!

Recommended to us by the staff at Borgo Pignano, we booked a one-hour tasting at the Caia Rossa, and ended up buying plenty of wine. Maria was friendly and informative, and I am very happy to have added these fantastic Demeter-rated wines to my collection!

Caiarossa is set in beautiful countryside and is a very interesting company. Manon gave us an excellent talk on the viniculture and the different grapes used to produce the wine. It gave us an insight into how the siting of the vines and the geology of the land is used to grow the different grapes. It's a fascinating process and having no previous knowledge of wine production it has given us an interest and will definitely be more selective when choosing wines.

Very nice experience of wine tasting! The hostess was a wine maker herself, she could really tell us about wine making and wine tasting. Great ambiance, great tour

Visited here with some friends and were shown around by the very friendly Jonas.
The whole tour was incredible - a really insightful and interesting tour through both the creation of wine and also a relatively young winery.
The whole tour was made all the more impressive by the fact that Jonas explained to us incredibly complex wine processes and answered all our questions in what had to be about his 5th language spoken!!
A wine tasting to finish topped off a great 2 1/2 hours.
My only negative point would be that they winery could have better links with local taxi companies etc. No-one wants to drink and drive but due to the winery being out the way it meant that one of our party couldn’t take part in the tasting session at the end.
Definitely worth a trip.
