We biked here on a VBT tour. Complete with lounge chairs and shade structures – “Lido”. This is a gorgeous beach, warm (comparatively speaking) with fine sand and turquoise water. I could have stayed for the afternoon!

This is a string of beaches just south of the Vendicari national park. Each is reached from a road parallel to the coast, by a short Strada numbered 1 - 10. For crystal clear water and amazing see views, my favourite beaches were at the...More

White Beach is our favourite. It is clean, the people are so friendly and its just a pleasure. There is a kiosk, a shower with fresh water and a bathroom. Highest quality loungers and umbrellas. The Best Arancini and Lemon Granita.

The waster was crystal clear and the beach white. We rented 2 sunshades and 4 beds for 40 euro and it was worthwhile. Spent most of the day in the warm but refreshing water. The food was reasonable and the staff helpful, very forgiving of...More

We visited San Lorenzo plus for the day. We paid 12 euro for two loungers which were fine. Beach vendors constantly pestered you to buy stuff. The staff in the restaurant were unhelpful and we had to ask twice for them to take our order,...More

Beach facilities in June (3 Replies)
After a week in Cefalu in the first week in June we are planning a second week based in either Noto , Ragusa or Modica. . When we are all 'baroqued ' out and feel like a couple of days at the beach will facilities such as sun beds and beach bars be open at the beaches nearest to the above towns e g at Noto lido , San Lorenzo or Ragusa marina at this time of the year.?
