We just loved it! No nicer sea and beaches in Europe!!! Beautiful white sand, clean, kid friendly and the feeling of „true Italy“ as one wishes for. We experienced perfect food for decent prices, friendly people and stable wonderful weather. For historic sightseeing you have endless options in short driving distance too. And Gallipoli as a known nice bigger city is offering everything you need whereas the small villages in the neighborhood give you all options of seeing various places at the sea-side! We go there again for the next possible option!

Time has stopped here! Very authentic! The life, the people, the food, the beach also the prices! We felt very comfortable, had a great, modern apartment near the sea (Conchiglie1) You have the possibility to rent a lounger at one of the bagnios or, like most, equip yourself with towel, umbrella, lounger, mattress and enjoy the clear, dreamlike beautiful water on the free rocky / sandy beaches! There are 2 supermarkets and souvenirs, otherwise no shopping facilities. There are great restaurants, bakery, bars and in the evening is either in the bars, in the small LunaPark or while picnicking on the beach really busy. By bus or taxi you are in Gallipoli in about 10 minutes. The beautiful sea is the highlight of Lido Conchiglie 🐚

When you're in front of this sea you can not help but be astonished by such great beauty, to doubt of really being on a beach of the Adriatic Sea, rather than on an atoll in the Pacific Ocean

I am speechless. It may be August but I've never seen anything like this. Stuck next to each other at 5pm on Wednesday evening... I can't even imagine the weekend. Clean water.. the rest.. 1500 km to get here in Puglia.. next time I'll stay at home.. I'll save money!

This was not a nice experience. We were there during July. The beach is quite narrow, there are so many people that you can not walk without touching hot sweaty people. The water does appear azure but there is a film of oil on top and lots of items floating in the water. Definitely avoid! We departed after 7 minutes

The beautiful sea but full of smelly algae, the spring that was once the attraction and entertainment of children is now dangerous and full of people

It is the most beautiful place in the world...June and September the best months. Suggestive split mountain. Strategic location a few kilometers from Gallipoli and a very convenient highway

The month of August is unlivable, total chaos. Small beach, where you can cling passionately. Not recommended. Peace and relaxation in September.
