Had a few drinks at a bar in this piazza. Good for people watching. Nice happy atmosphere on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Families and couples strolling by. Good choice of bars and eateries

This is nice place for families but the numerous foreign vendors of totally bizarre cheap items ruin the atmosphere. They harass you until you buy something or you move away. It is impossible to relax in one spot. The police seem powerless.

Nice square but not very big, in the center of the old city. Few terraces were open. It worth to relax here in a sunny day.

Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi is one of the liveliest parts of Monopoli. It's located in an intersection of narrow streets in the old town and has bars, restaurants and the port nearby.

It is the most tourist orineted square in the old town and is quite large and lined with a number of restaurants and some interesting buildings and definitely worth a visit.

I love entering the piazza through the old stone archway. The piazza is large, vaguely circular ringed with good restaurants and cafes. A wonderful place to relax after a wander around the port.
