Achill is blessed with beautiful sandy beaches-something we were not expecting. This one is especially wide and sandy and very beautiful. It was a lovely day, but it still made me shiver to see people braving the water!

What a beautiful beach. Lovely sand dunes and sandy beach with gorgeous views around bay and out to sea. Plenty of small outlets selling snacks. Toilets and car parks close to beach.

Keel Beach is no Keem Bay but there's a caravan and camping park beside it so great for families and young people.
