This is a lovely 10km walk through the forest to the top of the hill where there is a nice scenic view. You can take short cuts through the trail as well if you're not up for the full 4 hour walk. They also have different difficulty levels going up certain parts so it can be more or less challenging. We brought our dogs with us, and they LOVED it! They're allowed off leash as long as you're not crossing paths with other hikers.

This is a nice walk through a substantial wood not far from Saarlouis. the trek is approx. 13km is very pleasant and at times can get your heart rate up. Also historically quite interesting as there are a number of pill boxes dotted about in the forest from the last century, alas many were destroyed at the end of the war, however one still survives at the start of the trail.
