The history behind the Butterfly garden is very inspiring! Excellent way to care for Nature. A well combined attraction within a Park and one can take more time to have a Nature Walk on the Nature Trail. The Swamp is a good view with Ducks. Excellent Picnic area for families and groups!

This closed in area is a beautiful and unusual attraction, should you be in the area of Koblenz. It is a colorful flutter of mostly tropical butterflies. Kids will be thrilled, as they will trustingly perch on a hand! The display is educational for children and fascinating for adults alike. It is also independent of weather. Enjoy it any time;this... If with kids, you will be a hero. We had adults guests from the US who never wanted to leave. A must-see when in the area.

This is a small garden but worth the time to visit. It took us about an hour to go through - taking our time. We had two boys with us ages 11 and 12 and they were done in about 35 minutes. They did enjoy it as did me and my husband. The turtle was walking around and there were... More

Although we visited butterfly gardens in tropical countries, we were deeply impressed by this garden in the Northern Hemisphere. It is really remarkable how the tropical environment is imitated and how many different species of butterflies, animals and plants are living together in a limited space. Thus: Highly recommended! Zoological gardens often have a tropical house - but butterflies all... More

The butterfly exhibit was really cool. Really unexpected to come across it in our travels, but that area of town has many lovely things. They had many different types of butterflies in different stages of metamorphosis and the foliage was beautiful as well.

Great collections of butterflies. I love the fact that you can stay there and just read books while butterflies hover around you. Tiny colorful rice birds and teeny tiny quails sneak around for food and a turtle may cross your path. Great exhibit of other insects and the nursery for newly hatched butterflies is just jaw dropping specially if you... More

We took the bus from Koblenz to Sayn and it was well worth the visit. We could have stayed for hours enjoying the atmosphere and all of the beautiful butterflies. Not worth buying the combi ticket though as the palace is hardly worth the visit of one floor!

this was a nice garden of butterflies and other animals. not to crowded. Many butterflies to photograph there are places to sit and watch them fly or watch the turtle and birds roam around. A good place to visit if your in the area.
