Directly located at the famous chalk cliff Koenigsstuhl the National Park Centre KÖNIGSSTUHL offers a very special experience of nature. Together with your family or friends - the National Park Centre offers you an enjoyable day whatever the weather. A world of mysteries is waiting for you to be discovered in an indoor exhibition area of 2000 m² and an outdoor area of 28000 m².

The entry is 7.50 Euros per person for which you get access to the museum, movie theater and the nature center. You do also get access to the viewing platform ON TOP OF the Königsstuhl, which sort of defeats the purpose of seeing this attraction....More

A small entrance fee gave access to the most wonderful of exhibitions giving the natural history of the Park. The view point of the coast line is disappointing - you get much better views by heading down the footpath to Sassnitz

While you do have to pay for the park and the bus, it would be largely the same in the U.S. If you want to save money, you can walk to the overview or down to the beach if you have time, which we did...More

We parked in the official car park some distance away from the King's Chair site and walked through the cool beech woods to our destination (there is also a shuttle bus for those who don't want the exercise). Given the unusual heat we were grateful...More

This is an area which is mainly visited by Germans but it is well worth the detour if you are on Rugen. Imagine the white Cliffs of Dover meeting Californian forests to give breth-taking views. If you go to Victoria point you don't have to...More

I would definitely recommend the hike-in from the parking lot. You have to pay for parking but the hike is very well marked and the trail is more like a dirt road. It's shaded from the sun and has some great points of interest along...More
