We visited this morning after checking with the tourist information that it was open. They said that you could walk in any time, though, of course, not during a service.
The ‘chapel’ is beautiful inside. You really can’t appreciate it from the outside. It really does feel you are surrounded by water. I’ve never seen so much stained glass window.
There is an opportunity to light a candle which we did (1-2€).
Worth a visit to see the architecture and glass.
Stayed for 20ish minutes.
If you’re in the area I recommend a visit.

We spent one, incredibly wet and windy weekend in Saint-Valery-en-Caux and on our first day there this church was one of the first places we visited, looking almost literally for a port in a storm! The church is simple, elegant and yet still quite beautiful and impressive. In a small (yet still very charming) town, I would recommend this as an interesting and noteworthy place to while away some time

If you're in St Valery en Caux, park near the harbour and walk to the far end of the Car Park ..... and find a modern church with the silhouette of a sailing ship above its entrance - walk in and drown in the blue light of modern stained glass climaxing with a huge figure of the Virgin Mary above the altar. Ships and the sea are everywhere.
It may not be stunning modern design - perhaps all the better that it isn't - but I shall remember this long after many of the traditional churches and their layouts have merged in my (failing?) memory.
