A town with strong connections with the kings of England, The castle was the property of the Norman kings of England. Bring a camera the views are spectacular, a great place to explore on foot. There are excellent bars and restaurants to make a it great day out.

You can wander around and not see anyone else. The panoramic view form the top is amazing. Visit the castle, the church and sit and have a coffee/beer and watch for others. Its a very beautiful medieval town.

It was possible to take pictures without a single person in sight. The medieval buildings, cobbled streets, hidden courtyards, castle ruins, are great to explore. This town will not disappoint.…
