I found Takasaki in general a bit hard to get around since there weren’t many buses, but luckily the drivers are nice and will show you when to get off. A good place to visit even if it rains, and it’s in walking distance from the Daikannon statue (15min aprox). The entrance is 800 yen (I got really confused because... More

Thanks to the excellent bus system in Gunma, Takasaki, this was easy to get to. The caves and Buddha statues were very impressive. It was a short walk but interesting nonetheless. It is also pretty close to other sightseeing areas and an onsen.
