Second Best beach in Gokarna

I will rate it close second to Kudle beach. This beach is quite stretched out and one can easily walk along the coast for long. I loved this place especially the sunsets.

Was being there for three days. Over night journey from Bangalore. There is 5 beaches one after another and the final three is so remote, you need to trek no other mean of transport. The sea with the hill is the perfect beauty of the nature. All the beaches has unique texture and beauty. The local food is awesome.... Must... More

You need to trek a little to get to Om beach. Once you are there, a beautiful, nice & calm beach will welcome you. It's called the Om Beach because the shoreline appears to be the symbol of 'Om' which can be seen. Has a famous Namaste cafe which is also good. It has a lovely view, we had a... More

We took a boat from Kudle beach to om beach. Beach has long stretch, lesser crowded that Kudle beach, which was relief. Beautiful sunset at sunset point. Namaste cafe, the top cafe of Gokarna is located here, so do indulge. Dolphin Bay cafe is another great shack place to eat here. You can jet ski here. you can hike up... More

I began my morning with watching the spectacular sunrise at Om Beach. Though I had to trek a long way to get to the beach, but it was all worth in the end when I saw the orange bright ball immersing from behind the cliff. There are only few mornings in your life that you get to witness. I had... More

We went to Om Beach, Gokarna, with great expectations as all the beaches we visited on the west coast were just beautiful. However, steep elevation of the hill from where we had to claim down to reach Om Beach, was very difficult task, particularly for the elderly people. The path ways were not scientifically laid down, not clean, The beach... More

Lovely sandy beach, safe swimming, warm clear water. Gets a little crowded at weekends but virtually empty during the week. Sea eagles nesting in trees overlooking beach, occasional Toucans flying past. Great sunsets. You can wander round to the next beach for restaurants and cafes and a relaxed hippy vibe.

Definitely better and less crowded than the more glamorous Gokarna beach. The Om shape from the stairs makes it very camera friendly.
