About
In the north of Palas, in the cape of the same name and in the small bay, on the cliffs of the shore, there are more than 1500 epigrams in Greek. The name Grammata is clearly related to the letters and symbols of the carved and in Greek justifies the name "Γραμματα" of the breast.

During our holidays in Albania we visited different beaches of the south and Grama was the best. The bay is accessible by boat. Our host recommended to ask “Himara Seas The Day” to bring us there, and the experience was unforgettable. The best part of the trip was not just the Grama but the way to get there and our super friendly captain showed us the best hidden spots of the coastline. This was the highlight of our holidays in Albania.

We visited Grama Bay while on a boat tour from Himare with Seas the Day.

This protected cove’s crystal clear, smooth-as-glass water is a swimmer’s dream. There are some reefs not too far offshore that provide an opportunity for fish watching and coral observation. We wish we had brought snorkelling gear with us!

The the Bay also has a rich history. For centuries it served as a marble quarry as well as being a shelter for ships escaping storms in the Adriatic. The rock walls surrounding the beach are covered in inscriptions - some over 2,000 years old - left by workers and sailors. If you get a chance check them out.

Well worth a visit!

The most fantastic bay in the Karaburun peninsula. Took a boat from Dhermi and it takes about 45 minutes to get there. You don`t get bored during the travel as the trip is quite panoramic. The Bay is the most beautiful I have ever seen. Not crowded even in the peak of summer season. can do some hiking and discover some old writings on rock - that`s the origin of its name - Grammar Bay. A nice small restaurant which uses solar panels for energy. No mobile coverage - which is a good thing :)
