Well worth the stop absolutely picturesque, on a clear night you can see every star in the sky especially in winter on a very dark night

Beautiful lake. Very picturesque. Make sure to visit this place when the sun is out. It is best experienced without cloud cover. Since this is a tourist spot, expect that you won't be alone.

Went up to the lake one morning it was about a 90 min drive, the roads were quite icy in places, but the sun was out and not a cloud in the sky, it was a beautiful site, don't miss this opportunity.

I had never fell in love in a place more than Lake Tekapo before. The splendour scenery and the tranquility. Nothing beats a cup of coffee overseeing the lake and snowy mountains.

Loved seeing Lake Tekapo - we drove up to Round Hill Ski Field to get some unreal views of the lake. Beautiful mountains in the background, a lovely place to stop for lunch or to stretch your legs.
