A little disappointed the hotel did not tell us about this place or any other attractions in the area. The ice rink was great, well maintained. The pools looked inviting however it was too cold for us to try. The cafe is well equipped and was quite busy. Would be a nice day out had we known earlier about it.

The pools are located with a pine tree forest on two sides as a wind block and then facing out over the lake while looking up at the beautiful stars. Amazing pools, so relaxing.

We arrived on a freezing day and the hot springs were a welcome escape from the cold. With three different temperature pools to choose, it was great to just relax and take in the beautiful scenery around us. Lake Tekapo is one of the most beautiful places I've been to, and being to look out over the lake from a... More

These springs are not natural, in case you were wondering - but they do offer a great place to sit and relax in a beautiful setting. Can easily spend half a day here soaking up the atmosphere. The cafe is good and is well priced. If I had a choice between Hamner Springs and Tekapo I would choose Hanmer -... More

We have and 9 and 11 year old. They spent hours skating, tubing and in the hot pools. We also enjoyed the same and found it very relaxing. They have a good food outlet so we spent the whole day there.

The price for the combo is very reasonable approximtely $60 per person for ice skating, tubing and the hot pools, great value for money. The pools are great and overlook beautiful views We didn't skate in the end but there were lots of people doing this and they all looked like they were having a great time The snow tubing... More

I absolutely love the Tekapo Springs, as last time I relaxed in the hot springs and highly recommend it . This time I flew to chrisrchurch and drove down to Ice Skate and not use the pools .However phone in advance if you're wanting to ice skate . Drove 3 hours to get there , only to find out they... Indulge yourself and book a massage or just head there for the hot spring and/or sauna or steamed room. Don't believe those who find the place dirty. The place is super clean including the pools. Although I must say I don't endanger myself into the kids pool. There is an adult-only hot spring (the hotter one at 40 degrees C!)... More

After experiencing the outdoors which this area offers, Tekapo springs is the perfect place to wind down and relax in the evening. The hot pools are just what the body needs. All the arrangements are nice; except that there is only 1 drinking water fountain near the pools. When we visited, that too was out of order! Expected better from... More
