Hard to get a good snap of the Church at daytime, busloads of tourists come in each hour. However a beautiful spot to see with a great backdrop, can get some excellent night sky shots from there as well!

Sorry, but this lovely spot has been totally spoilt by too many tourists, in particular those who feel the need to take multiple selfies of themselves and everyone else in their tour party from all angles, making it impossible for anyone else to get a...More

There would have been 60 photographers there when I visited at sunset. It's so popular that it's hard to describe exactly why!! Yes, you will get great photos of this church but you won't be alone at any time of day!!

This Church is very tiny and quaint but well worth a visit. Just sit there and worship the view - so calm and peaceful and thank God for His Creation.

The trick here is to arrive before the coaches full of selfie snappers! Then you can sense the peace and calm and understand why someone felt moved to build a chapel here

Clever choice of material, reasonable size for the place, most importantly, great location. It's a shame that we just saw the church from outside.

Sorry I don't know. It is a working church and so there should be a website or the New Zealand tourist board should be able to assist.
