This unique tiny quaint church quietly stands over looking Lake Tekapo and takes only a few minutes of your time. Warning-take some bread if you have it for the very friendly ducks that great you in the car park.

Every time I visit Tekapo I have to come and take more photos of this beautiful church. Something about it draws me back and it never ceases to disappoint - a must stop and walk around and of course very photogenic

We arrived at this lovely spot about the same time as three large tour busses. The church sits before a stunning lake amidst a blanket of wildflowers. Truly delightful, but it would have been even more enjoyable without the hordes of people jockeying for spots...More

There are 3 best timings to catch the church with a spectacular background - Morning Sun where it hangs just halfway up the sky from the lake itself, and you could take a photo of the lake with the sun shining majestically upon the lake...More

A functioning church that sees lots of tourists taking photos in front of it. Quaint and if u do spend a min sitting quietly inside the church, it's actually really peaceful and serene despite the hustle bustle outside.

This is a lovely little tourist attraction in right by beautiful Lake Tekapo. A very old church in it's original shape and form which still conducts worship services. Go have a look if you're visiting the Lake.

I am not a church goer , but I will never forget first visiting this little church with the most stunning back drop of Lake Tekapo. Built from local stone and with its dedicated statue of a working dog (used for sheep herding) -this would...More

have been twice both times in early Feb just after the kids have gone back to school. The sites aren't as full and the weather is still very warm and sunny.

Sorry I don't know. It is a working church and so there should be a website or the New Zealand tourist board should be able to assist.
