This place consistently stays in good condition because of the local Council but mostly because of the committed people of the local Friends group. The reserve always looks in great condition and I get a kick out of seeing things grow and more wildlife and...More

Beautiful bush reserve that is located off busy Stephenson Rd. After driving past the parking area at northern end for years I decided to actually pull in after a shocking day at work. What a treat. Like walking through a door out of city and...More

Great place to go for a walk along the creek. Good kids playground (fairly new). Only issue was the number of mosquitoes, even on a fairly cold May day. But still, nice quite place for a walk or run along the creek.

One of the few spots that dogs can run, and enjoy, off the leash! This means that their owners also have a great time. Kept in good condition by the Monash Council the park is a relaxing attraction.

Recent continuous sunshine has prompted investigations of local places which offer pleasant recreation for our nine grandchildren and two mobile 90 year old Great Grandparents. We (the middle generation) have loved walking along the well- defined, shady pathways offered at Damper Creek. The water course...More

This is one of the prettier creeks. It is charming as it is sort of split level, upward winding hilly paths and one leading to the the water with resident ducks who have names I'm told. It houses many native birds and trees and feels...More

The Friends group and the council do a marvellous job keeping this reserve natural-looking and pleasant to explore. There a few little surprise features but mainly it is a little bit of nature away from busy roads and endless houses - though close enough for...More

A beautiful, peaceful escape from suburbia. Leash free so the dog and I can exercise together at our own pace. A place I love to visit!!

Walking in the park is very peaceful. It's a dog leash free park too. Our dog is always excited running and playing with other dogs. And we enjoy chatting with other nature lovers with their dogs.

This loop of a walk takes less than half an hour but is a pretty stroll with seats and shade. Plenty of bird life to see and hear and dogs can be off-leash - but there are still a few owners who do not pick...More
