- Mariana de Souza29 contributionsVisit MaragogiI honestly expected more, but the beach is beautiful, the water is warm, but not transparent as you see in the photos. The prices charged are very high for trips to the natural pools and Moses Path (the latter for me was worth more! There the water is transparent, crystal clear, it looks like a swimming pool). Worth the experience!Visited January 2024Traveled with familyWritten January 27, 2024
- Camila FigueroaCasablanca, Chile53 contributionsBeautiful landscapes 🌴🐟Spectacular landscapes, we went on a tour that included Maragogi beach, natural pools (my favorites) and the Moses path (sandbank). I recommend bringing plenty of sunscreen, aquashoes and a snorkel (if you don't have one, some tours can be rented) IMPORTANT: Check the tides. When the tide is very high, the Moses Trail cannot be seen. Ideally go with tide 0.0.Visited March 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten March 14, 2024
- Lucas APara de Minas, MG56 contributionsA great walkIt offers many possibilities and attractions. What fascinated me most were the natural pools of Maragogi. Little explored and relatively preserved, the pools of Maragogi are fascinating and charming. In addition, highlight for the beauty of the waters and their colors.Visited September 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten September 6, 2024
- Vanessa V6 contributionsMany attractions that disturb the quietThe nature of the place is impeccable, a real Brazilian Caribbean! But it is very "instagramavel", has beaches with a very loud sound, sea full of boats / jetskis, photo points that hardly let you get into the water of so many things, because I didn't even go in the high season. It is worth knowing for its beauty, but with reservations.Visited September 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten September 19, 2024

- Patricia g8 contributionsHotels in MaragogiIt's amazing in every detail. We liked tours without being too full of people and we got some super private with very friendly natives. We made the tour to Galés swimming pool by boat, tour to Croas de São Bento de jangada (impermeable!) and tour to a private swimming pool with a swimming pool that was the culmination of the trip with the boys of @rosadosventos_1. It's a must-see place.Visited November 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten November 1, 2024
- NIDIA M1 contributionNice, worth the experience.Maragogi is one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil. The main beach is Maragogi q is in the city of the same name, but has other more beautiful beaches less busy, the beach of the edla really has a contrast with the city that is poorly cared for, but what is breathtaking is the blue, crystal clear, the walk to the natural pools is wonderful. There really are many sellers, even in the middle of the sea, but I think so... buy whoever wants to leave the staff...only is working, if you want more tranquility has q go japaratinga or antunes beach, but the sea is the same. I suggest renting a car in Maceió and having more freedom, I went from Aracaju to la by car we slept one night and we came back, it was wonderful. Beating back and forth should be exhausting.Visited January 2025Traveled as a coupleWritten January 12, 2025
- Ianná BiancardiRio Branco, AC51 contributionsBrazilian CaribbeanSpending money to the Caribbean or Hawaii for what?!?! We have our own Caribbean!! The most beautiful thing I've ever seen! Perfect beaches, crystal clear, warm water, snorkeling in the natural pools is another sensational experience! - Daniele MRio de Janeiro, RJ74 contributionsMaragogi: did not exceed expectations.🙁Maragogi depends heavily on climatic factors such as tide influence and a bright blue sky for its natural beauty to be actually highlighted. As for the aesthetics of their tourist establishments, there is a lack of grace. During the night, some shops become lit and adjusted and you can identify nice hotels, bars and restaurants. Because during the day, the appearance of everything is very simple. Not to mention that disorderly growth is already very present in the city. Open-air sewage falling into the sea, architectural buildings out of balance, etc... It's a reasonable place. Very famous but leaves to be desired as a super tourist destination in my personal view.Visited January 2025Traveled as a coupleWritten January 12, 2025
- Carlos B2 contributionsImpressive!!!One of the most beautiful experiences of the activities we did from Maceio. Highly recommended!! Both navigation to natural pools, water activities, as well as the restaurant area and beaches in general. The water in that area is very clean as well as the beaches.Visited December 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten January 13, 2025

Our trip was a lot of fun, we went on a raft instead of the conventional speedboat or catamaran. As a result we had three hours exclusively in the pool, as it is far to walk and the other boats cannot reach it.
Not to advertise, but the experience was really worth it.
Rosa dos Ventos is the name of the vessel. Around R$100 per person
We did a really cool photo shoot with Edvaldo, R$250 for 115 photos

One of the silliest places I've been to in the northeast. Warm water, with an exuberant color, no waves and beautiful walks. The natural pools are a true paradise! I will definitely come back more often

The icing on the cake on the coast of Alagoas! Beautiful beach with very calm and warm waters. Good infrastructure, several optional options, highlighting the natural pools with transparent waters, corals and colorful fish, justifying the title of Brazilian Caribbean. The service provided by WS Receptivo was excellent.

What is interesting about Maragogi is the trip to the natural pools and the Moses path, but it will depend on the tide, otherwise, not even that will be interesting. In short, it has no attractions compared to the nearby beaches. The tours are expensive, but depending on the conversation you can get a reasonable price. At first they charged R$150.00/person, we did some negotiations and closed at R$90.00/person. We were unable to enjoy Moses' path as the tide was 0.5. I really expected more from Maragogi.

They are not yet prepared to receive tourists with good service and infrastructure and the prices are unreasonable (said by Uruguayans, Argentines and Brazilians who were visiting the place with us)
The beaches are beautiful like other areas of the northeast (I liked Natal, Pipa and all the beaches in that area better. The activities are expensive and disorganized.

Positives: The beaches are beautiful. The trip to the natural pools / Moses path by catamaran is also wonderful.
Negatives: But the city leaves a lot to be desired in terms of things to do besides the beaches. Mainly at night.
High prices.
Weak infrastructure (lack of lighting on the waterfront) and organization of the city as well.
Compared to other nearby tourist cities, you need to have much more vision to add the beauty they offer.

Beach, sea and paradisiacal scenery!
Beautiful natural pools, perhaps the most beautiful in Maceió!
Much more popular and crowded beach than the others I went to!
The point that makes the beach fall in my opinion is the fact that there are many street vendors, vendors and children asking, when I say a lot and without exaggeration because they don't stop passing by and asking! It was a saleswoman trying to get past you, if I'm not mistaken, one of these was from a stall called King of Shrimp/Lobster, where he arrived offering a piece of crayfish to my wife who was alone at the moment and then wanted to charge her saying that she had asked to open and eat the crustacean, I found it very disrespectful and rude from the guy, who kept pressuring her to receive it and saying it was $80, and then we discovered that he was selling them for $20, so be especially careful with the sellers at this establishment !
Wouldn't go back!

The center of Maragogi is a favela. Too ugly. Zero culture, zero crafts and cuisine. Local workers abuse prices too much, everything is super expensive and they make fun of you if you refuse the service they provide. Even Av. Beira Mar is ugly. As it is a tourist attraction, the city and state should invest in adequate sewage treatment! Natural beauty ending up due to lack of knowledge. Very sad with the experience, expectations were dashed, I will never return.

Tour with only 1 stop in the pools that is worth it.
Exploration ... R$ 150 for a diving of 1.5 meters deep. Sold as 4 meters and 30 minutes.
$200 a boat but... they put 12 people plus two sailors. 14 people on a boat. Looks like an arara dick.
Outside the pools... the beach is bad.

The center of Maragogi is a favela. Too ugly. Even Av. Beira Mar is ugly. It's difficult to find parking. Some inns say they have free parking, but it's on the street. You'll have to walk. As it is a tourist attraction, the city and state should invest in sewage treatment. Maragogi and Maceió beaches top the list of unsuitable for swimming. In the center you see sewage flowing onto the beach and the rivers that flow into the city of TB are contaminated with sewage.
