Cristina Brino is an incredibly talented chef with a charming and funny personality! The dinner was not only delicious but also lots of fun!
Cristina makes everyone feel so welcome, relaxed and at home. Our group was 2 Americans, 2 Brazilians and a Swiss (everyone spoke English) and we all got along so well and had a wonderful evening together!
The covered outdoor kitchen/dining area is beautiful. Everyone sat on stools at a counter sipping delicious Malbec as we were instructed and entertained by Cristina as she prepared our meal.
The empanadas were amazing and the steak was the best I ate during our trip to Argentina. The chimichurri sauce was fantastic, and I actually used Cristina's recipe and made it myself last night!
I would highly recommend spending an evening with Cristina Brino. You will learn something about Argentine cooking, be entertained by a wonderful woman, meet new people and enjoy a delicious meal and fantastic wine in a beautiful setting!

WOW WOW WOW Christina’s cooking class was amazing. The food was incredible, the wine never stopped flowing and the location was 10/10. Christina did such an amazing job as well, Stefi gave us an amazing tour of the property and we couldn’t have been more happy. Highly recommend that you do this experience!

While staying at the marvelous Finca Adalgisa, we took a cooking class with Cristina. It was one of the best things we did on this holiday. Cristina is a natural teacher--- warm, funny and a marvelous chef! The meal was amazing and we all learned how to cook an astonishing meal over fire! We absolutely loved Cristina and the whole experience!

I took a cooking class at Finca Adalgisa during my visit to Mendoza, a small winery (and olives too) just outside Mendoza in Chacras de Coria. Everything about this activity was perfect. First, someone came and pick us up at our hotel in Mendoza (and brought us back after dinner, of course). Then, the grounds, buildings and settings are just beautiful. The ingredients used during the class (and which we ate afterwards) were of the best quality. And of course, I must mention our chef, Cristina Brino, who was entertaining, knowledgeable, personable and down right funny. She gave us many cooking tricks. Actually, the whole staff was just great. Just a small number of students (6, the night I was there). It was truly the best activity I did while in Mendoza. A must for cooking buffs and food lovers !
Ooops, I forgot to mention that wine was free flowing all evening. Of course, wine produced at the Finca and just lovely.

My husband and I stayed at Finca Adalgisa in Sept. 2011 and had the pleasure of taking Cristina’s cooking class on the last night of our Argentina vacation. The class was a perfect way to cap off our trip! The hotel has built the chef a beautiful outdoor kitchen space – you watch her cook in a real clay oven, at a counter under a grove of olive trees – right outside the beautiful winery and tasting room. As for the cooking itself - Christina could have her own show - she is fun and knowledgeable and entertaining throughout the class. (As a professional restaurant chef – her knife skills are a performance in and of themselves!) I was particularly impressed by the way she was able to seamlessly switch between Spanish and English (Six people dined together in all – we had two English speaking couples and one Spanish speaking couple.) Empanadas made from scratch were a highlight of the evening, but the grilled steak was also delicious (and huge!) Throughout the class you get to enjoy the Finca Adalgisa wine, made on site, as well as their homemade olive oil. You receive great recipe notes to replicate the meal (as best you can without your own clay oven) and a Finca apron all of your own. The evening was romantic and educational and highly recommended! Thanks to Cristina and to the Finca staff for a memorable last night.

We choose this cooking class because of all the good reviews on tripadvisor and we weren't disappointed. Although it was freezing, we really enjoyed the cooking class. Really good wine, the best empanadas we ever had and a really cosy evening. We highly recommend it although it is a bit away from the main city.

We went a little early to hotel Finca Andalgisa where Cristina Brino holds her classes outside overlooking the vineyard. It is about a 20 min taxi from downtown Mendoza. It is a beautiful property but the $400 a night rate was not in our budget. If I could have splurged it would have been worth it to stay there. We enjoyed getting a tour of the family estate and had a glass of wine on the patio. The class was intimate but not very hands-on. Cristina speaks excellent English. We got copies of the menu with instructions and ingredients. Her
class was about $80 US each which was very reasonable for the great steak dinner with wine. It was a delightful evening.

We took this class while we were on our honeymoon. First, the location is absolutely charming and I loved the kitchen set up. Cristina is very talented and is a very good teacher, but she is also very entertaining! Now, we had some incredible meals on our honeymoon, but we both agree that this was definitely one of the beat. And HUGE portions! We both had such a great time that we would do it again in a minute

. . . .and you learn to do it yourself!
Cristina and her staff are warm and welcoming. The class is informative and interactive. And after a few sips of wine, everyone wants to participate, so don't be shy to do this amazing event. You can be hands-on or an on-looker. She provides all the menus at the end of the class, so you're not so busy scribbling notes that you miss the fun of the class. Best of all: you eat your classwork! The cost of the food and wine alone (in any restaurant in my town) would far exceed the price of the class. Cristina: Nathan & I are now eating those empanadas every week! Thanks!

How to you see available times/price and reserve? The website doesn’t show it

We used the address at Finca Adalgisa. This site will not let us use the actually site that we used....don’t know why. Also look up Christina Brino We had a fun, fabulous time with her. She teaches at a lovely small hotel that has its own grapes. You will not be disappointed. FYI. It is more a demonstration than hands on except for the empanadas. Hope you enjoy it.
