We came across this lovingly kept little church almost by accident. It just looked so lovely in the sunshine on a nice lawn. We stopped and found it to be a museum rather than a place of worship and we were pleased to find well...More

I was there this morning. Yes, there are some neat things but it really looks like somebody just went antiquing. I would expect a "museum" to have things better cared for and displayed. Yesterday was the last day of the official tourist season - I...More

This is a very sweet little museum. Definitely some interesting things though I think the other reviews overstate things. I would pair the museum with lunch at the cafe/gallery next door, which I loved.

First thing you notice is the beautiful former church building that this museum is housed in. Nice collection of local history in simple to understand displays. Enjoyed my self guided tour and attendant was available to answer my questions.

It was amazing to see how things were years and years ago. I found it cool that if someone needed something they made it. There is a variety of things to learn about like farming, fishing, the store, schooling and the everyday lifestyle
